That's cool mark no worries mate. I'm sure my mate can cope, I emailed him martins guide and he seems happy he can manage it, I'll tell him it should be roughly three hours all in. I gather contrary to guide its not necessary to totally split the hub?

you can take the whole hub and half shaft assembly out as 1, change the bearings and inner seal and then put back as 1 unit... its awkward and there is a risk of damaging or popping out the new seal but it can be done. doing this I get it down to about 15-20 minutes per side..

biggest tip I can give is lift the side you are doing higher than the other side so all the diff oil stays in the axle and not on the floor!

And I work in IT not a garage!

Yer 15 20 mins is a good time but id rather take it all apart clean every thing also i clean the thrads on all the bolts and holes soi no thay will come out next time all i can say it you dont need to undo the 4 17mm bolts behind the hub

ill do both side for £75 for you including cleaning the cvs right out im only in Southampton
