Common problem on the DOHC........its just one of those things a sensor failing, its a cheap and easy fix so not really a problem.

Very common, the fan shroud was altered on later jimnys to provide more cooling.

I have a brand new sensor still boxed if your looking for one

Hi all just had a quote on the sensors 80 for crank and cam if i replace the two sensors will i need to reset any thing with a code reader or is it the case if just unbolt and replace the two new sensors job done as there is no lights on dash thanks for your help guys hope this solves my problem with my baby lol :-)

Sorry for all the questions guys :-) but do you need to disconnected the Batt before you unplug the sensors thanks

Its probably just the crank sensor so id just replace that first rather than both.

Cant remember if I disconnected the battery and no you dont need to reset anything just simply plug and play.

You don't have to disconnect the battery, just make sure that the ignition is off.
