King Pin Bearing? was created by The Dug
Evening all,
With all my time rolling around underneath the Jimny recently I've noticed a few things transfer box mountings, brake pipes and this;
Having looked at other posts I'm fairly sure this means the King Pin Bearing needs replacing, couple of questions.
I'm going to be away for a few weeks but in that time both my wife and dad might need to use the Jim, is this likely to cause further problems or is it best to leave it stationary until I get back to fix it?
If I'm replacing the KPB should I look at replacing anything else while I've got the hub in bits?

Thanks for that,
So if I purchase the king pin bearing kit & the swivel seal from the shop that will be all I need?
That's assuming I don't find anything else wrong obviously.

you need 2 bearings a side and a oil seal that goes in the end of the axle on the drive shaft
that's 1 seal a side cost you around £30 for the 2 sides
