After messing about for years, I finally increased the size of the garage and installed a two post lift.
The Jimny is a real pain to get on the lift as trying to place the lift pads to get the trailing arm mountings in the middle of the lift pads is very hit and miss.
Also the first time you are scared it will fall off.
The car is nearly eight years old and we got it as the dealers demonstrator.
The underside needs a bit of a fettle but no real rust problems just a wire brush in some places, rust convertor, prime, topcoat and underseal. So quite happy there.
The offside swivel has grease escaping, should I replace the seal, hard to get a picture that actually shows the area and gives a good view.

im glad im not the only one that finds it fun sticking the ramp under those mounts, shame theres no were else that's a bit wider cause it does leave the arms close and the jimny wobbly im sure it wouldn't go any were and ive done quite abit of work on mine on the ramp like it

i believe that a leaking swivel may be sign of kingpin failure. i'm sure others with more knowledge may be able to offer better advice. may be better to put a new post up about leaking swivel. people may miss this as it starts with the 2 post ramp thing. rob

Your right main reason king pins can be other things could just be a bad inner axle seal but these mainly go due to other reasons check for movment in the wheel hold 12 and 6 if wibble kingpins hold 9and 3 if wobble wheel bearing these are not exact as I had not wobble no leaking but changed my kingpins for peice of mind and found one fell in bits as I toke it out I think thrre a easy job some would not agree I think it depends on skill and if you get unlucky with stubborn bolt etc hope this helps
Ive just noticed you have said grease this could mean seal as tgats whats in the swivel but if its more runny like oil more likely as above

On the two post part of the subject, it can be tricky on older ones with shorter arms but can you not get the pads to sit on the chassis just inside the radius arm mounts.
I realise this makes them even closer together but at least they are on a flat surface.
I have not put mine on a two poster but I know it has been on one recently as last year I had the rear wheel bearings done at my step father in law's garage and it went on his then.
