2008 Jimny.
Just out of the blue, one morning the radio did not work.
Checked all the fuses.
The lighter also is not working.
When I switch on the lights, the radio is illuminated.
I pushed in a disk. It did not feed in.
Then I started the car and the cd was ejected.

So some kind of supply is still on the radio.
Maybe it is a earth leak?
I still have to investigate.

It's a simple case of switching the engine off and on again, sometimes a couple of times before it works. Haven't found any problems with the wiring loom but for now the engine off/on trick appears to work.

+1 :(

I think the feed for the stereo and the lighter are on the same fuse, so I'd try swapping the fuse out for a new one - worth trying as sometimes even if the fuse looks OK a new one gets you up and running again.
