Perhaps topjimny already installed CC bushes? And just moved the hole, to improve the caster, say on a 3"?

all hes achieved is lengthing the wheelbase by half inch which could be puttting excess strain on other components, shock mounts, panhard rod etc.

Hi guys,

I saw this on a Jimny here in my country and was wondering if it will improve My cc angle. Actually, the guy did it to clear for 30's and avoid cutting the arches under the door. Nice to hear your opinion, and apparently it will improve nothing in my Jimny steering.

Cheers

Busta wrote: I thought the idea of caster correction was to rotate the axle back a few degrees to compensate for the raised ride height.

This will move the axle forwards. How does it change the caster angle?

Dont see what the big shock horror thing is how will it effect other components ? when lifting it has already put it out of line infact mite help correct the problem ok could have welded some plates over the outside to make it a little stronger and look better
I think its got to be better than hacking away at the floor to to get tyre clearance.
And when you have so called pro modifiers cutting and shutting front arms with lumps of dog shit rebar material cant see how this is any worse in fact i would say its a damn site better well done in my book :)
