If you drill skew wont that mean the stress experienced by the bolt will be different,
Like a the force wont 100% percundicular to the bolt

I thought the idea of caster correction was to rotate the axle back a few degrees to compensate for the raised ride height.
This will move the axle forwards. How does it change the caster angle?

To correct it like that you would have to move the hole down and back. off the top of my head I think it would need to go down 2" for a 2" lift to correct the caster. All you have done is pushed the axle a inch

you have to ask yourself this:
if its that simple why isnt everyone doing it like that and saving themselves hundreds on CC bushes and radius arms?
in my opinion all you've done is weaken an already weak part by drilling another hole in it :ohmy:
