well i've had the cover off and i cant decide if its the sump or not,
how big of a job is it resealing the sump? just going to give that a go and some oil additive to revitalise seals and see if that fixes it,

Its tights coming off but a bit of elbow grease you should get it off just remember to drain the oil first and use a good oil resistant sealent i always use vw/audi sump sealent then refit all the bolts then tighten them all up

yeah i'll drop the oil due a change anyway,
sounds simple i'll give that a go when i get a second,

It tight coming past the front round crossmember and you may need to jack it up and surport on the chassis so the axle sits lower to make working on it a little easyer
