oil leak between engine and gearbox?

oil leak between engine and gearbox? was created by ne-crock

so laying under the car i found this leak,

all most sure its engine oil as its getting low but i'm also burning a bit of oil so it could be that causing the low level,

any ideas whats the cause?

Sump sealent
Rear main oil seal
Head gasket
Rocker cover gasket
Alloy housing where the rear main oil seal fits

If single cam
Cam shaft sensor
Alloy mount cam shaft sensor sits in

I think that covers all thing sealing oil at the rear of the engine

Look at the rear of the head see if there is signs of oil may need to use a mirror then clean it off and run it

well i've looked around the head as best i can and for the bits i cant see i've shoved my hand and cant feel any oil coming from here,

if my sump was leaking would it be coming through my bell housing?

also been reading into the rear mail oil seal sounds like a big job? i have never taken a clutch apart or anything like that, what kind of prices would a garage be charging for such a job?

If your sump was leaking yes it would there is a metal plate held on with 2 10mm bolts take that off and you will see the back of the fly wheel and the end of the sump
