When you say you had to adjust them slightly for the front what did you do? Can you fit the brackets without longer springs or will this cause issues? Like the idea of more articulation and less wear on the bushes etc but dont want to lift it really.

On my spacers I just had to cut the mounting tubes down so that they would sit in the original shock mount as they were a little wide, then the mounting U bracket of the shock repositioner sits on top of the original mount and can't move, plus the bolts are tightened up fully, and as I said above over a month ago when first discussed, the bolts / pivots are on two different (opposing) planes so it can't move anyway...
It just means one of the dedicated Jimny stores / specialists making these to suit the front application, if they wish to do so... In my case it was a want/need to re-use the Bilstein shocks as they were sooo expensive that I couldn't sell them through my own store...
Not sure why you would want to lengthen your shocks without fitting a lift? That's one for the Jimny-massive on here to discuss, but these suited my application

Its the length of your shocks that limit the amount of articulation, so with these fitted but without longer springs surely you get more articulation but keep the ride height the same?im not planning on fitting huge wheels and tyres so a full lift is pretty pointless but more articulation is always welcome.anyone got any other views on this idea?

Ah, ok, but remember by fitting such a shock spacer you also effectively reduce the closed length of the shock as it articulates upwards... so your shock would effectively be 1.5" shorter when closed, and you don't want your shock closing fully and becoming your bump stop...

Surely you would have this problem anyway even if you fitted springs aswell? How would I know if the shocks were acting as the bump stops and what could be done about it?
