New Week, New Problem... was created by Grizzly
Well this is the 2nd week of owning the 'Green Machine' and another problem has arisen... This time I have no 4WD, the sole purpose of me getting it
I pulled over, half on and off the grass to remove this ↓
Anyway, as I pulled (tried to) away the wheels just spun... I engaged 4WD but there was no light on the dash and the wheels still just spun. I even tried 4WD low but still nothing
2WD still works as normal so I'm not off the road but I really need the 4WD sorting.
I've checked the fuse and it's ok but I'm assuming it's something electrical with the display not coming on. I jacked the vehicle up to check if the hubs were actually engaging and they aren't so any suggestions as to what else I could check would be appreciated.
I did take it to a local garage (a 4x4 specialist) but was told that he'd need to strip it down to locate the fault

Vacuum pipes all seem ok. If it was a simple case of a hole or pipe off that wouldn't explain the lack of display on the dash, would it??

I take it you have push button 4wd
Fuses checked ?
Short contacts on back of switch to see if that is faulty
Id be more inclined to go with electrical fault rather than mechanical on this one

No mate, it's not push button, it's a lever
