No its not mark it with paint chork or use some think that sticks to it then use some string feed it rund the belt till ts back to the mark then mesure the string or if your going to replace it any way cut it and mesure it simples

I know what you're saying Mark and in theory yes but in practice I make a pigs ear of it every time!

Just found the receipt: on my 2007 M13AA A/C Jimny, the belts are 4PK948 and 4PK833. So the other two should be for non-A/C models perhaps ? :dry:

It is printed on the belt. If you have run out of adjustment, get a shorter one.



See, I went and turned my belt around just for you.

2000 twincam, non-vvt, no aircon.

I reckon the 813 would likely go on, my alternator is pulled up a long way.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Me being old school it’s to replace the existing although the alternator looks fine ..... :whistle:
