my jimny as a bad vibration at 2000rpm in 2nd 3rd and 4th trough the hole chassis its that bad the interior mirror moves

iv checked all the mounts tbox gbox and engine
prop shafts
suspension bushes


any body had this before or no what it may be

mmmmm was thinking that but it dont do it when you just rev it its only when moving i spent over an hour checking every thing i can think of either with a pry bar and checking tightness of thing and it still there and its a single cam engine just if any body asks

Frozen/stiff Universal joint.

You have to undo the prop to test this. Undo it and check it can be moved smoothly in all directions.

thanks martin didnt think of doing that should a check the gbox to tbox prop also or is it unlikly to be that one

My vibration was caused by Uni joints seizing. When I replaced the 5 uni's i put in ones with grease nipples and give them a pump now and then. Did this over 200,000 k's ago and they are still as good as new.
