Of course there will be some benefits, but nothing is a good enough reason to lift the body up if you ask me. And because it just helps with the things you mentioned, there's nothing that one couldn't do without such lift. I MIGHT give thumbs up to a bodylift if someone would plan on fitting some bigger than 35" tires...Smoggy wrote: I do take on board what you guys are saying about bodylift negatives: high cog etc. and only good for tyre clearance and little else, but I disagree, as since I did my bodylift I find it easier to route pipes, cables breathers etc out of harms way across the top of the chassis legs. It is also easier to inspect any rust prone areas such as the rearfloor pan above petrol tank, top of petrol tank, clearance space between top of chassis legs and vehicle floor. A point also worth mentioning; many owners of late have been having problems removing rear shocker top bolts - well this is much easier access with a bodylift. It makes things easier when fitting breathers too, especially the transfer box one. So all in all not totally negative.

But I think I have ranted enough about this topic in several threads, so I will take a small time out now, lol!

Although, it's a good chance to return the set, and decide to go only with a suspension lift...
Yup, that's why I swapped to Poly spacers, as ally and steel cold-weld together as the two different metals react against each other...
