Yer mines a 1999 from new, for a long while I used to get to P&P spend 10 mins taking it off, do the day then put it back on, yes you get fed up with that. So took it off a good few years ago, been no trouble at mot.
Mine passed the MOT on Tuesday sans ARB. Spent the weekend welding the inner sills (has no one else had rotten sills? nobody ever seems to mention them?) and one new wiper blade ( replacement rubber from Halfrauds last year totally torn, done less than 500 mls and only been out in the rain a couple of times since last year) and all was good.
On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
