Hi

Never removed a door trim, but to get at the seatbelts, the whole side trim has to come off, to remove it the rear seat has to come out.

From memory:

Remove the rear step trim by pushing the centre of the plastic rivet in until it clicks.
Remove the seat centre hinge plastic cover.
Remove the centre hinge and remove the backrests.
Remove rear carpet and undo the screws at the base of the panels.
Undo the front and rear seatbelt lower fastenings.
Remove doorstep trim panels by breaking off the plastic pegs that attach them to square holes in the sills. (they cost £5,000 each from suzuki, so they will go back broken  )
The rear trim panels lever off from the rear held by plastic pop out rivets.

Now remove the trim panels to see the belt reels.

Fit rear speakers whilst the trim is out

Replace trim. Use a torch and screwdriver blade to align the pop outs with the holes in the car or they will just snap off.

Replace everything else.

Drive around listening to the new squeaks from all the disturbed panels

I imagine that the door trims are held by the same pop out rivets, machine mart do a flat spade tool to lever them out without breaking them.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

I think the only thing to add is to get everything as warm as possible to stop the little plastic bits being brittle and snapping.

If I remember correctly the door trim is straight forward once you locate a couple of screws at the front edge of the panel

Yes, there is a flat springy tab that is part of the panel that just snaps off on removal, and glues back with solvent cement, (which takes a day to dry). I suspect it snaps off again on fitting and causes the squeak.

the sill covers lever off upwards, breaking their clips in the process, but they just drop back in place, a big blob of blu-tack or double sided foamy sticky would keep them in place, but mine don't move.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
