Welcome to the forum. I holidayed in Barnstaple last November for the first time in years. I found my jimny ideally suited to the roads down there as it's small enough to try and get out of the way of the natives and given how much mud seemed to be on the roads it was almost like off roading!

Welcome. I used to have a 2020 SZ5 manual and loved it. For various reasons I sold it and regretted it so much. However, I have just put a deposit down on a grey Jimny Sierra from Japan. According to the ship tracker it is currently steaming across the Indian Ocean somewhere near Madagascar.

Thanks for the info on the seat support matter. I've been to my local main dealership which is where I bought the car from. Having mentioned about the sloping seat base(s), they said they knew nothing about this and would do some research. They came back to me today and said there was no known issue. Having shown them one of the images, they said this could be an after market part. I see in one of your images there is paperwork in the background showing a technical bulletin dated October 2022 and a ref number. Do you have any more info on this? I hope they are not trying to fob me off. The car is going in for the seats to be checked next week. Thanks.

Thank you Martin, I am now starting to be concerned that I may have a dealership which has staff that cant be bothered. We'll soon see; there is more than one way to skin a cat! Information like you have provided is invaluable.
Having contacted Suzuki Customer Services about the topic, they are 'batting' me back to the dealership. I have asked them who sends out the bulletins, let's see what happens!
