I put the VIN of my 2008 into that site and it said it was an 2005 Alto/Baleno at the top, but then all the information in the build sheet table is correct. If something as obvious as fuel type is incorrect then that seems a bit fishy. I take it yours is the 1.5 diesel?

Indeed, my version is JLX and it's not from the UK, but from LATAM (Chile specifically). I checked and it doesn't have the SRS acronym or anything on the right side of the engine. That's where my doubt arises, because in some guides, these elements are available in the JLX version. I assume it may be a more basic version.

In my case it tells me it's a Samurai / Forenza, but like you, most of the data in the grid is correct except for the fuel type. I assume it's a similar error as the vehicle model, since I just checked the engine and chassis numbers and they match the VIN data.

Given this, the vehicle is legal, but I don't know the exact version it is and its accessories. I imagine that because it was manufactured for the Latin American market, it doesn't include some of the EURO safety features.

Exactly, ABS beyond being a braking control accessory, its main function is to prevent loss of vehicle control as well as rollovers, not so much braking in less time, (although it can help). This is something that worries me about my Jimny and when I realized it doesn't have it I thought about adding it, but as I see it's not that simple, that's why given the basic technical characteristics that the JLX model should include, I wonder why it doesn't have this system.

I'm not fully up to speed on it but I think that in what is often called rest of world countries so not USA, Europe and Middle East much of the specification is an option that the first owner gets to choose, so even things like abs have to be selected and are charged for.

Mine is a 2008 JLX that originally came from Bermuda and it doesn't have ABS. It was also missing a rear fog light and headlight level adjustment, which are standard features on all UK Jimnys, but those are easier to add.
