Anyone like Martin who has both an old & a new Jimny ?
if so ease can you look at the inner sill & tell me if they're similar contours..
I've seen these JB64/74 illuminated sill guards & wondering if I could make them fit them on my JB33.

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

Gen3 the existing plastic cover is about 68mm wide
The sill itself is about 75mm wide
The existing plastic cover is about 690mm long
its minimum height at the rear is 30mm over the seat crossmember.
There is around about 750mm of flat length available before it curves up too much
 

Gen4 the existing cover is 68mm at its narrow point and around 100mm at its widest.
The sill itself appears to be around 100mm of flat width
