Good morning all! As per title: do Gen4 steel wheels & tyres fit a 2001 Gen3?

My local Suzuki dealer wants to sell a load of new, unused BFG Duelers and black steel wheels. The cars are delivered to him with that trim, but 99% of the buyers opts for wider rims, alloys etc. Leaving him with a load of brand-new stuff and that's taking up space.

The tyres are the 195 x 15 size; Less than 1% difference from my older 205 x15 size. So no trouble with that. What's more to look out for?

I have fitted Gen3 steel wheels to my Gen4, so yes they fit, don't know what age Gen3 they came from though.

Where are you based, are they selling them off for a good price?

Done! I went to the dealer first thing this morning and bought 5 brand-new steel wheels with 5 brand-new BFG tyres for 250 euros (207 GBP). He threw in a set of 20 new wheel nuts as well. I can't complain, I think.

My plan is to sell the old wheels & tyres on a Dutch market website.

Interesting to see how one's mind works. I think that plain steel wheels are the best-looking set-up under any Jimny. On the other hand, my Saab has 4 very rare alloy wheels, made from 'unobtanium'. (MY1971 only and limited to 500 cars).

That was a great price Menno. The lowest price for steel rims here is about £60 and you got the tyre thrown in.
