Gearbox / Propshaft oil leak. was created by Khusti
I have a persistent leak on my 2006 jjimny, it from the gearbox / propshaft oil seal.
Mine is a late 2006 model. I am struggling to find the correct oil seal I have bought 4 and they are not right
Does anyone know which seal actually fits and where I can get it

The seals are all the same across the years ( but different manual and auto)

Available in the BigJimny store.

But be aware, it is not always the oil seal, it is quite often the plug in the end of the propshaft yoke.

My 2005 had a leak there. I smeared Tec7 silicone gasket stuff on the outside of the yoke on the shaft, and changed the seal when i changed my broken gearbox. It has not been leaking since, but I am looking for a more recent axle from around 2010 or newer. Not easy to come by in norway when Jimny yearly sales was around and sometimes below 20 the last years.
