Having had a 90 pickup and now having a gdj155 commercial I am confident that of the 3 the rover was decidedly the least pleasant certainly from an ergonomics perspective, needed looking after a lot and was quite loud too. The cruiser is definitely the most civilised but also a current model so has more development and mod cons, quite heavy though which for my specific off road work is against it except for it's when towing. Personally they are all capable but I find that the Jimny especially Dreadnaught is the most potent off road. The lack of size and associated lack of mass coupled with competent tyres and suspension mean we go places the other 2 can't or more accurately make less mess and require less effort to get to the same place or further. Between the pair of Dreadnaught and Leviathan there's really isn't a task that can't be accomplished and it'd have to be something truly special to make me want a change.

lf only Land Rover had done with the Defender what Suzuki have done with the Gen 4 Jimny they would have a world beater on their hands.
lf Suzuki did it for £18,000 then surely Land Rover could have done it for under £30,000.

lnstead of that, what they've produced is a vehicle that's no doubt highly accomplished but starts at £45,000 and is no more useful, or better than, a Discovery 4.

I think this will mean the Jimny remains popular, it's just a shame that it's no longer imported to the UK, however according to the motoring press it's to be re introduced as a two seater commercial version early in 2021.

No sign of that yet on the Suzuki website, but hopefully it will happen.

I have the Escape Gear seat covers, they have been absolutely marvelous. They still look like the day I fitted them, 2 years later.
They also give you the option of just buying the front set.
