Gen4 Bull Bar - Road Legal?

Could this be an actual road legal Bull Bar?

Front-Protection Concept Plus

I actually like the look of this, but does German:

"Our front bars have passed the latest European test standards and are delivered with an engraved E-test mark. An additional TÜV demonstration is therefore no longer necessary."

Equate to UK road legal?

Now I know it's not going to be as solid and bomb proof as the Iron-man and ARB full metal bumpers, but it's going to be a lot lighter as well.

E marked is as good as it gets. It's a certificate of conformity for type approval in whichever market the number relates to.

As it states is made in Germany and it's sold in Germany then it either conforms or they are stupid as they would be open to prosecution both for selling and for construction. Therefore I would say it's legit.

Edit: it says in some other text that they manufacture AND wholesale products so it might not be made in Germany.

Still it says in French that it is CEE approved so looks pretty good to me

It appears to attach to the tiedown points and sheet metal in front of the radiator if I read the pic correctly.
Not sure what protection that would give if correct. Maybe I'm mistaken in understanding the attachment.

Crash, that is what i got from the fitting instructions. But like I said it will not be as solid and sturdy as a full on metal bumper, perhaps that is the only way to get a Bull Bar that is E approved?

The thing is it's entirely possible to produce a cosmetic bar that looks good but is sufficiently deformable to meet current impact criteria and get it homologated. But it will always be a cosmetic thing.
