Are you referring to the OBD connector, and is it a momentary connection between pins or does it need to be held shorted?

My weekly Resting Voltage Readings have been stable since changing the oil and are above the voltage readings taken when using a 5W30 oil.
Conclusion, thinner oil is what the motor needs and it responds accordingly!
