Many thanks for all the helpful replies guys - much appreciated.
Was tempted by a very cheap T-Roc R lease deal but then again the Jimmy is almost certainly more fun and characterful so I'll hang on to it!
Cheers,
Mike

Defo better than a t roc r deal. If you lease for 2 years you'll pay out 7000 and have to hand the car back.
Keep the Jimny for 2 years and you'll have paid off say, 7 grand off the finance and you'll still get list for it.
This is from someone who has leased his last 2 cars.

Yeah zebra man, T-Roc R tempting but as you say still £3.5K in and then £7K over 2 years so at £10.5K over 2 years a helluva lot dearer than Jimny at maybe 3 or 4K off list over 2 years. Still a rapid premium 4x4 though at less money on lease than depreciation buying and owning. Jimny defo more character and, in many respects, style!

If you really really want a t roc r then this is the cheapest deal I have seen so far:
centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/lease-volk...VWTR20R~~5HPTA4.htm/
It's about 8500 over 2 years with 10k miles.
A big meh though. Loads of flash and go but zero character. A car made by committee if ever there was one.
