This is why I like using a broker, a few quid more but saves a tonne of aggro.

I have had the Auto now since 16 Nov (South Africa was the first to get them somehow).. I've now clocked up over 6000km, and have done 6 different pay and play trails.
First thing I did was change the tyres, in SA they come out with Dunlop Grandtrek tyres which are horrible on even dry tar, I didn't even want to try them on a wet road. I put on my trusty Firestone Destination A/T's in 215/80R15, which is the biggest that will fit without lifting or trimming. I also changed the wheels to my old SJ's rims
The extra power of the 1500 is really nice, and the Auto is very driveable, even able to maintain 120kph on very steep highway hills. The transmission does tend to hunt though, but there is a very convenient O/D off button on the side of the shift lever (same as the swift). High speed (120kph+) handling is not great. and I had a very scary wobble at 150kph.
Off-road it is a pleasure. The auto with traction control can crawl up stuff way slower than I could with my old one. The traction control is not as responsive as I would like and is tuned for around 1500rpm.

I'm waiting for my coils and shocks to arrive, then it will get a 50mm lift. I still have to work out how to relocate the headlight leveler.

Brakes: One thing I've noticed this morning is that moderate braking (downhill at 50mph+) and i got a judder through the steering wheel. Almost as if the discs are warped. Obviously it can't be that though. I know there's vibrations felt through the cabin of the Jimny, but this wasn't particularly subtle.

It could be a warped disc, there could be a faulty one fitted from new
Or it could be a traction control issue, I see that the press came across an issue on a specific road surface when testing in the USA

Was that the one where the collision avoidance system was being confused by the crash barriers at the side of the road?
