Is it possible to do something to the springs, making it harder to depress the pedal so you can rest your foot on it more?
If it is harder to press down you will not have to hold your foot back. or?

btw I do not have this problem, just went to the Annual club meet 8-9 hour drive both ways. And done other trips too not having this problem.
Could my 2005 pedal have a different setup maybe?

I have 2004 seats which have a bit better support under the leg.
