Inevitable - snapped aerial was created by shortylumber
Well inevitably snapped my aerial today.
Is it going to be a case of buying a stock aerial to replace, or can the original fitment be altered to fit a standard 5/6mm threaded one?

My replacement dealership one was only 24 odd quid, not worthwhile fretting about altering it.

Jackonlyjack - any idea what to search?
Lambert - yeah I did find one at around £23 after a little more searching, saw quite a few at £40 mind which was a little off putting at first sight

I have a brand new broken one, genuine Suzuki.
Why would you want a broken one?
It was cosmetically damaged in the post. The nylon sleeve that fits down into the pillar has been bent. The aerial itself is fine and extends and retracts ok.
£15 plus postage

Well an offer like that is hard to refuse, thank you. I'll drop you a message shortly.
I was looking at a raku 2 fitting and then adapting the current fitment to suit it before I saw your message.
