That's where you take an old tyre and strip the tread off and relayer it with a fresh outer patterns. They are allegedly cheaper than a new built tyre, are certainly more environmentally friendly and are always bigger than the same size new tyre. As has been said they generally wear quicker too. Lot's of people swear by them but personally I can only ever put premium new tyres on a car as they're going to be the only thing touching the road and keeping me out of trouble.

I am happy with remoulds offroad but proper tires for mainly road use.

I bought these and they are superb.
