The main difference is that Suzuki recommend changing the traditional spark plugs every 36 months and the Iridium every 48 months. I also came across a car that refused to run on the traditional plugs but that may have been some other issue

If you are wanting the best economy and performance such as it is from a Jimny then the only real choice is the iridium plugs. I have tried both in mine and it is definitely nicer with the proper iridium ones.
