springs are shorter than shocks' max length was created by Jimny987
Hi,
Last week I lifted up my jimny for maintenance, tyre hung down naturally and the shock extended to it's max.
In this situation, I observed that the springs are shorter than shock and it can be moved easily.
Is it normal? or my springs are too short?

Your springs are too short or your shocks are too long. Are you using shock extender brackets by any chance?

Thanks for reply,
I am not using extender brackets.
How about adding a spring spacer to fix it?

Sounds fairly normal to me. As the springs and shocks are not combined (ie. MacPherson strut) but sit separately they tend to work almost independently.

If it's normal, can I add spring spacer to get it tight?
Will adding a spring spacer effect the suspension system in the situation?
