I used the Jimny ICV as the liana one had different pipework and was seized.

Yakuza, there are four manifold runners and one inlet...hth

My manifold inlet was 46mm Riccy...I enlarged it to 50....got some higher revs afterwards.

Keithy: The manifold on the 08 Liana was 50mm on the TB-side, but throttle body on the intake side was was 46mm.
bigger towards air filter side.
Hope to have explained it better now?
Can post pics if you like.

We are actually discussing very small differences on engine details of Top Gears "reasonably priced car"..
It's not like any of us will notice how the sorroundings go blurry when we we press the accelerator and go into warp speed :)
But i Love it!

So you have a 46mm throttle body mated to a 50mm inlet?

Might get a set of 38mm throttle bodies and rid mine of the nasty inlet manifold altogether.

The scenery had better go blurry after shelling out for 9.0:1 pistons and 500hp conrods to withstand the turbo.....

I ran a test in the Ignis (1.5) and had no trouble hitting the baro reading so no restriction there and the air filter (OEM) hasn't been changed for at least 20k.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

The Swift Sport engine has around 30% more power than the "reasonably priced car" and around 50% more power than a Jimny so it would be no real surprise if the Jimny's intake and exhaust system were holding back a significant amount of power.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

So that is with the 46mm on a 1.5? Is the rest of the intake the same after the throttle body on the 1.5, the manifold?
