what year is it. The VVT came in 2005/6. There may be some non VVT cars around those years that sold after the vvt came in.
Anything after that is definately VVT.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

Its 2015. So it id vvt i assume.

Definitely a vvt if its a European spec car. Some other markets didn't get the vvt at all. If you look at the front of the engine where the black plastic cover is for the plugs forward of that towards the radiator it an aluminium casting, part of the rocker cover. If there is a definite step in this looking from above as in the left side is nearer the radiator than the right side its a vvt.
