VVT or not how to tell. was created by Nissan300
Hi guys.
I've only owned my jimny for a couple of months and I'm already hooked. My jimny is a 2005 jimny o2 with the face-lift dash and push button 4wd select. My question is my log book states 1298cc M13A and there are VVT logos on both front wings so is it a VVT or not ?.

But from what I've gathered from reading around only the vvt engines came with the push button 4wd select
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong

Do the vvt engines still use a timing chain?

Yes it has a chain and yours is a VVT.
