I have decided on the step-by-step approach! Grabber AT 205/75/15s ordered and being fitted on the standard alloys this weekend so I can see clearances. Then the 2" lift (Trailmaster - although I need to understand what "Sport" means in the context of a Jimny!!). After that, once I see clearances, may move to black 30mm modular offset wheels.
While doing this, I think a coat of something rust-preventing would be wise on the chassis rails to preserve their rust-free state. Probably smoothrite or similar.

Driving to work in the dark now, I was pleasantly surprised by the standard lights, but more light is always welcome, so I also have some LED lights to find a mounting point for.

The problem is the postage from South Africa + import duty. What started out as a bargain ended
up costing me more than UK ones. Lesson learnt the hard way.

Shame really as they do some nice kit.

Their does not seem to be a massive choice of bolt-on recovery points. I did look for the Wizerd ones as mentioned in 1066Boy's signature, but not sure whether they can be got in the UK. Are the ones on JimnyBits my best bet. I would love to add the winch plate and winch, but that seems like an expense I need to consider carefully. Ideally before my next excursion in a couple of weeks time.

Nick what bulbs have you got? i have osram night breakers unlimited a good upgrade and philips extreme are also good

Front recovery points - R 874.00 (£50)
Rear recovery points - R 677.00 (£38)
Delivery via Globe flight - R 1771.00 (£102)
So, £190 delivered for front and rear. No idea what import duty would be on those, though. I did ask for ground freight, but they only gave me air, so I have asked again. Different style to JimnyBits, but I like the red!
Do you have any pictures of how they fit? The website was not 100% clear as to how involved they were or just a bit of drilling and bolting.
Daniel - just standard bulbs I assume (not looked yet), so I might upgrade them as well. I happen to have two of these already and they will look good in the bumper recess

I only have the front ones. Shame the price has gone up a bit due to the the fall in the pound. The large round lug on the end slots
into one of the holes in the chassis. then bolt in place. Mine is the later facelift model so bolted them down low because I did not want
to make a hole in the bumper.
