Castor correction.... was created by gusthegorilla
Just a quick one, guys....I'm a little confused....
Just bought a 2" lift for the project, which I'll get to fit in the very near future.
What I need to clarify is whether I need front castor correction with a 2" kit to assist steering self-centering, and if so, how many correction bushes do I need...is it 4, or all 6 ?
Think I'm having a blonde moment....can't get my head round this   I've looked at the diagrams posted by Russ on the JimnyBits website which show just the front two bushes on each arm being replaced....no mention of the rear ones which I would want to replace with new as a matter of course....are these available additionally, and if so, under what heading?
The front correction kits I've seen only appear to consist of 4 bushes.....
Also, are the orange two-piece ones worth the money, and how does ease-of -fitment compare with the solid type??
It's the end of the week, and I'm really tired....sorry if I appear a bit dopey..... (don't even think about it, Daniel!!!!)
Clarification would be appreciated.....
Gus

And many people (including me) do not bother for a 2" lift.

well........... you've had a long week mate!

First port of call you might not feel you need them some people find its not that bad, if you do then as jack said 4 for the axel fitment 2 each side, and just a normal (centred hole) one for the chassis i have standard Suzuki one fitted for more comfort on the chassis and on the axel end were YOU need two corrected ones i have Dave's bits for jimnys split ones easy to fit quite a squeeze to get back in a bit of 'mallet time' (not Hammer time) was needed
Dave has a diagram on his site

Going by what you and Daniel have both said, it would seem that the answer is...fit it, and see how it feels....is that a fairly accurate assessment, Martin ?

Yes, see how it goes and fit them later if you are not happy.
