No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI want to get some of these:

But don't fancy a big full length light bar due to noise really, has anyone got any other smaller ones, maybe similar to the 6 or 12 LED ones?

Just want something which will help give me some more light if I'm out playing at night.

What have people got and where have you mounted them? Am I better off mounting up high or around grill area, but I don't want to cover any vents which go to radiator etc, I can't see many other places they will fit.

Thanks!

I am thinking about a light bar 12/18" or so to fit behind the grill in the front bumper. :)

I would like know how bright these are? In comparison to 55w halogens.

My light bar is fitted on a mount in front of the grille. Doesn't really affect air flow, but my Jimny does do a good impression of a kettle when creeping around off road. I didn't realise the fan wasn't electric until the temp gauge started to rise quickly when in 2nd gear high at about 12 mph for a prolonged period! :pinch:

I would quite like a second, bigger light bar on the roof, as you can never have enough light. B) My light bar is a £40 job off eBay, rather than a proper Cree one, as the equivalent Cree 24" LED bar was around £100 more if I remember correctly.

I have a 14 inch LED lightbar from Jimnybits that I mounted directly to the front of the bonnet (across where the Suzuki symbol is). I haven't seen anyone else do it that way, but it seems to work well. The bonnet provides a really sturdy mounting point, unlike the bumper plastic (although I've seen people on here get round that by making braces). Another advantage is that you can easily feed the wiring across the top of the bonnet through the struts.

I think lightbars across the roof look really cool, but they are illegal to use on the road. I also imagine they generate a fair bit of wind noise, as my roof bars do, and apparently they can glare off the bonnet.
