No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThe problem is SVA has almost killed off "simple" kit cars like the Dutton Sierra.
No production cars are really made with a chassis any more which means expensive tests however if you have an old SJ kicking around??

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

There is a yellow Dutton Jimny based amphicar in a garden close to the ferry terminal in East Cowes here on the Isle of Wight. It hasn't moved for some time, looks quite a bit bigger than the Jimny and being fibreglass I suspect weighs more too.

Good luck with that then lol

There are always 2 sides to a story, and we all know what the press publish is the complete truth especially the daily fail...

As I said on my build thread, you can read both sides of the story and decide yourself. Tim is very upfront about this story and even talks about it on his website. You don't see ford, suzuki and other car manufactures posting their bad stories!

Actually they weigh much the same.
Amphicar 1150 kgs
Jimny 1105 kgs
There is (or was) a 2wd version using Fiesta parts.
I can imagine there might be one or two situations where it may be handy but it's a compromise so not really much good off road and not as good as a boat.

I think its more of a fashion really, there are lots of Lotus Seven replicas about. The Dutton Sierra was produced when Kit Cars were very popular, the Duttons all had their own chassis.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
