water leak was created by jewi
My washer bottle keeps loosing its water!

I have checked and the seals where the pumps go look ok with no sign of water, there appears to be no splits in the pipe work and i have traced the rear pipe work and that looks ok.

The only thing i can see is there is a drop of water coming out of the washer jet on the drivers side but surely it can't be that?

I have replaced the washer bottle as the previous one done the same.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Paul

Water comes out of the washer jets if you are parked at a funny angle and the level is high enough as the washer fluid can be level with or higher than the jets with the reservoir being mounted so high.

Do you loose enough to empty it though?

I notice some coming out of the jets when driving and I've not squirted the screen.

I fancy there might be a bit of capillary action going on too.

it takes 2/3 days for it to empty fully, i might try and only half fill it and see if that makes a difference

i have just had another look, from the pump it goes to a straight joint piece (no valve in and clear of any obstructions), the pipe then goes to a 'Y' piece then to each jet. There is no one way valve, should it have one?
