I have two breaker bars. 18'' and 24'' and if I need more leverage I use a 3 foot scaffy pole. I've not had a problem using these.. Quiet too, unless I slip!!!!

Thanks all, after much pondering I went for a DEWALT DCF899P2 XR, 18v with 950 nm torque, in hind sight maybe overkill, I bought it before I had read all the replies.

Used it today and had no bother, does make working on stuff quite a bit easier, it's pretty big and heavy though, might be a bit of a pain getting into a tight space or working upside-down! Sort of didn't realise that from the pics.

So far so good though.

Good choice. Mind if you have a really tight nut, like the crankshaft nut on the m13 a engine, you will find that a fully charged battery is required.
