I have the 3" trailmaster lift and my ride has been transformed soaks up the lumps 'n' bumps on the road and gives you more confidents in the bends. ;)

The 57690 shock also fits a Toyota 4 Runner / HiLux?

Not exactly the same size and weight of vehicle?...

Notice it's for the very old leafsprung Hilux. They were quite light compared to a modern Hilux and also uses softer springs due to the leafsprings.

I think that's the reason why TM have chosen the same shock. Production cost and because not a lot of people use the old Hilux anymore.
