Boot net / trunk net - ideas !? was created by Bosanek
Hello!
Due to a standard problem of stacked stuff falling out from the boot when I open the tailgate, I am thinking of installing a net to hold the stacked items in the boot.
It should look something like this:
I investigated a bit, and it appears that Suzuki makes such a net especially for Jimny.
The part number is 99000-99025-63W.
Here it is on Suzuki Romania:
www.suzuki-redtor.ro/modele/jimny/accesorii.html?cat_id=3
I am waiting for a quote from my local Suzuki dealer, but I suppose it will be some silly premium price.
Even if the price is right, my opinion is that the genuine net has too short height. I need it to be much taller, at least as much as the seat height.
So, does anyone have an idea on a "DIY" solution? Something tried and tested from Ebay with slight modifications?
