Tbh I have been looking at a couple on amazon that fasten over the tow ball and assuming they clear the spare they are getting good reviews. And even if they don't fit that well they are cheap enough to modify so that they do.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
Bellerophon (2024 grello van daily

I have thought about getting replacements for the roof rails but no-one makes just a set of rails, they tend to be combined with a big carrier. I guess they would be expensive as a one-off but would make the roof a lot more useful.
The limit is apparently 30kg with the standard rails. I assume that means 30kg downward pressure without a lot of wind resistance. I wouldn't want to put a couple of sheet of 8x4 ply on and drive it far!

Probably also need to consider how much the structure under the rails would take - if it is only built to take 30kg as well? Though I have seen roof tents etc put on them.
