Thanks Martin for that research you have done... Sounds like the stuff I need it won't rot as fast as steel, and I'm sure it will be easy to install, just make sure to use lots of cable ties and not crush the pipes too.
I'm going to give it a go, I'll let all know how I get on with it..
Once again thanks for that...

Mine - finally - arrived today (I ordered it when I posted above 5 days ago)...
As it says in the description though -
AutoSiliconeHoses.com extruded silicone rubber tubing is ideal for use as: Vacuum Lines - Washer Tubing - Coolant Overflow - Wire Insulation - Emission Control. Available in upto 9 Colours to match any engine bay styling requirements. - Extruded Silicone - Available in 9 Colours - Operating Temperature: (-) 60 Degree C to (+) 180 Degree C - 2 Metres of 3mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose - 2 Metres of 5mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose - 2 Metres of 8mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose - 2 Metres of 10mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose
It arrived as a padded envelope with 3 coils of silicon hose in it, each 2 metres long?
Still got to fathom it out as there's no destructions...
But I THINK it's just to replace the original rubber hoses? i.e. not to replace the metal pipes across the axle?
Time will tell though...? LOL

Jimny-Dave..
Mine will arrive maybe next week... But I may go the route of bolting the drive in the locked position as Martin has suggested, But not sure yet. I take your point about replacing the whole lot of metal pipework...
I hope you get it all working fine..
Tony.

The more I think about this, the more I think it IS a dress up kit for the vacuum pipes in the engine bay?... not specifically for the hubs?...
Particularly when you look at their other items?
I've already fitted manual switching hubs to mine, but I would like the vacuum hubs back on eventually...
