I do like that grey!! Been tempted recently by a newer one myself but.. for off road duties seems pointless when it's gonna get scratched by trees etc. Although, you've bought two! so... plenty spares! :woohoo:

Yes I did suggest to the wife that if I need spares I could rob them off of hers !! That didn't work out too well ! Hahaha

Yes it's definitely the way to go . I missed my old one especially in the winter driving back roads to work , was a nightmare in a fiesta ! . Me and the wife have both been stuck at work when we have had snow before and it's not ideal . I do like the wife's new one though , they have changed a few things like bonnet , wings and a digi section on the dash , swapped the indicator stalk over give it traction control etc etc but it is a pleasure to drive and the leather seats are also surprisingly comfy . Well worth buying a new one now as I believe they will be changing it altogether in 2017 and no longer have a proper chassis . I doubt very much that the wife's Jim will see any mud for at least 3-5 years though ! Lol

Traction control? hmm wonder if that makes it any better or worse, off road? have to say, I'd quite like air con as after a while off road especially at the weekend (just gone) on a punch hunt, the cool air was no longer cool from the standard blower set to cool! Can you turn off the traction control? also, in the newer one with the 4wd buttons on the dash, what actuates the front axle? I.e must be a solenoid? as obviously no physical mechanical means via the transfer lever.. (sorry if I've just hijacked this thread!)
