I think mine was £225 for an 05 soft top.

UK road tax, for Cars and light goods vehicles registered before 1 March 2001

under 1550cc = £145 or £79.75 for 6 months
over 1549cc = £230 or £126.50 for 6 months

it was a simple as that.

Now we have 11 groups for cars made between 1st march 01, and 23st March 2006 and 13 groups for cars made after that date, (11 + 2 extra high)

PLUS since 2010 onwards, the same 13 groups cost a different amount in the first year (robbery?) the first 4 groups for new cars are free for the first year, and the rest rapidly hit more than double the normal tax rates with band L and M costing a whopping £860 and £1090 for the first year. :sick:

Dirty tax grabbing bastards.

At least in the UK the tax goes to the road system, 99% of roads are good, here the tax goes on corruption and a little on the roads.
