This is interesting and caused me to go and look at the Suzuki parts manual.

This is because the couple of Jimnys I have worked on have the gearbox breather really difficult to access and not of this style.

The parts manual shows that Jimnys with a single bell housing casting have "Dave's" style of breather and those that have the split bell housing casting have a small hidden breather on top.

Spanish Jimnys have the single bell housing along with some models of Japanese Jimnys, other Japanese Jimnys have the split bell housing. It is not clear at the moment what the deciding factor (G13B/M13A/VVT) is

As usual, I'm just lucky I guess...? ;)

I worked it out from this photo off eBay -



And then went and lay under my own Jimny for a look and spotted the breather peeping out into the transmission tunnel, and went from there...

Perhaps you need to offer two different breather kits then?...

Certainly chuffed with mine that I had off you ;)
