Window tint was created by Grego
Hi all, has anybody managed to do a self tint on the rear windows on the Jimny?
I did the rear of an Estate car a few years ago but that was easy as it was flat(ish) glass but gave up on the rear window as it was curved , and I have just noticed that the Jimny's side glass is curved as well as the rear screen after i bought the tint from Halfrauds .
(I know you can get tint film on Ebay alot cheaper but Tbh everything i seem to buy on ebay lately is either cr@p or fake and cr@p)
Anyhow, question is, can all tint film be shrunk with a hairdrier/heatgun to get around the curves?

Tried to do mine with the Halfords film. Disaster, gave up and threw it away. Still thinking of getting it done but they dont do colours and I wanted blue.

Why not use the clip in mesh screens instead, they are quite good
