Simex Extreme Trekker II is the original tread pattern. All others are copies :)

No beadlocks.
I run 235/75/15 on original 5.5" wide alloy wheels. At the winch challenge the tyres were aired down to 1.2 bar of pressure. Worked fine all weekend without any trouble.

So what you are saying Tom is that for exemple a set of 31" Silverstones (a lot lighter that Simex) could work in terrain as you describes??

Yup :)

But as I wrote, If you mainly drive in sand, get some BFG KM2's :)

For mud and the slippery stuff im all for special tracks! The big lugs are easy to clean out with a spin of the wheels! Alot of the comp boys are running maxxis trepadors now days though!
