We have built a Jimny made for Trophys... to day driving on Cooper Discovery STT 30x9,5x15, and ar not happy with them.. in mud they ar as good as street slicks...
I have looked into Silverstone 31x10.5x15 and also thinking of Simex... What do ypu think, would any of those be your choise and why?? or other tips??

What type of terrain?

Simex type tread is one of the most used types of tread patterns for mud and dirt. But not very good for rocks and sand.

However, I've just competed in my first winch-challenge on a set of Insa Turbo Special Tracks. The terrain was 1/3 quarry with sand and gravel, rest forest with a bit og gravel but mostly dirt and mud. The tyres performed very good. Far better than the silly Kumho KL71's. Our overall time was almost 1/2 hour faster than the other Jimny we competed against (on KL71's), and we had to drive 4 stages with rear wheel drive only sunday. Lost it 2nd stage sunday morning. Saturday evening still with 4x4 we were 55 mins ahead of the other Jimny :)

So it really depends on what terrain. If it's only mud and dirt, get some Boggers. I know a guy in Denmark who might have 31" Boggers for sale :)

To be fair, I just don't like them for the purpose I need them :)

I'm sure they're okay for greenlaning and such. But I'd still go for KM2's :)
